Our Post Consumer HDPE Resin (PCR) Products

At Aaron Packaging, our goal is to provide the best possible products to our customers. One way we are doing this is by offering more sustainable packaging solutions. In a recent study 75% of consumers said they would be more likely to buy a product or service if the company is making an effort to be sustainable. With increased global recycling efforts and increased innovation, using post-consumer resin (PCR) has reached a point to where it has become viable in manufacturing.
We use HDPE post-consumer resin in our manufacturing process to produce bottles for our customers. At Aaron Packaging, we offer several options for HDPE post-consumer resin.

Natural Sorted PCR

This material is sorted at recycling centers so that only natural HDPE bottles are collected. It is then, ground up, washed, and melted back into pellet form to be used again in manufacturing of new plastic bottles.

EcoPrime™ PCR

This material is processed similarly to Natural Sorted, PCR with a few differences. It is sourced entirely from US, curbside collection centers. It’s cleaned and deodorized through a patented chemical-free process to create a product that is safe for food contact.

Oceanbound PCR

It is estimated that 8 million metric tons of plastic waste ends up in our oceans
every year. Oceanbound PCR is created from recycled plastics that are collected from at-risk areas where they would be more likely to enter the ocean.
Our supplier has qualified partners around the globe that work
to remove plastics from beaches and waterways.

BioPolymer Resins

Biopolymer resins are derived from sustainable, plant sources such as sugarcane ethanol. As plant-based products, they reduce greenhouse gases and are better for our environment. Packaging made from biopolymer resin can be recycled using the same systems already developed for conventional resins.
